There’s a guided walk along the River Teign at Stover Country Park. It’s free except for parking charges and if you feel 4 miles is too far for some of your party you could feed the ducks and adventure along the aerial walkway round the lake instead.

Occombe Farm have a half term Geopark Quest. It costs £2.50 per child and you book in advance. Read more about Occombe Farm here.

Torre Abbey’s monthly Family Sundays continue this weekend – entry is £5/person with lots of activities and workshops included.

On Monday, Coldharbour Mill is having a special Children’s Day with loads of family friendly fun, live music and a BBQ.

Further afield, Morwelham Quay are running a Ragged Victorians weekend that looks fantastic. Tickets can be cheaper if booked in advance so check out deals before you go.

  1. I love occombe farm but haven’t been to any of their events yet. Do you know if you have to pay for adults too or just children?
