Have a free day out at Seaton Wetlands and discover their newly opened Rainbow Trail – take a picnic and follow the paths to find all the colours you can.
There’s a guided walk along the River Teign at Stover Country Park. It’s free except for parking charges and if you feel 4 miles is too far for some of your party you could feed the ducks and adventure along the aerial walkway round the lake instead.
Sunday sees the famous Poltimore Festival return for one day only! Tickets can be bought in advance via the link at £15/adult, £5/child.
Occombe Farm have a half term Geopark Quest. It costs £2.50 per child and you book in advance. Read more about Occombe Farm here.
Torre Abbey’s monthly Family Sundays continue this weekend – entry is £5/person with lots of activities and workshops included.
On Monday, Coldharbour Mill is having a special Children’s Day with loads of family friendly fun, live music and a BBQ.
Further afield, Morwelham Quay are running a Ragged Victorians weekend that looks fantastic. Tickets can be cheaper if booked in advance so check out deals before you go.

I love occombe farm but haven’t been to any of their events yet. Do you know if you have to pay for adults too or just children?

I think when we did the ‘feed the animals’ session everyone had to be booked/paid for as it’s a strict numbers thing to go in the pens etc with the keepers. I think for the trail it’s just the children who are filling in the quiz sheet etc. Don’t quote me though 😀
