There’s a sensory play session at The Hayridge in Cullompton. It’s free but booking is essential.

There is a new exhibition at RAMM for the summer, called Sea Life – Glimpses of the Wonderful. Read more about it as fellow blogger Amy – A Devonshire Woman – took a trip with her children. On Wednesday there is a drop in session between 11 and 3 to handle artefacts from the exhibition (free) and for an additional £2.50 per child you can visit Devon Wildlife Trust in the courtyard for fun with seaweed!

Sidmouth Museum have transport themed activities for children, based on ‘Wheels, Engines and Hot Air’. All free with donations welcomed.

Pinhoe Library are hosting a puppet show called ‘The Fisher-Knight’s Tale. Tickets cost £2 per child and it’s advisable to prebook.

The Toy Libraries are open in half term, so you can pick up some new games/activities/equipment to take home and play. You could have a rummage at The Scrapstore while you’re there!

Topsham Museum are offering drop in sessions for children to make stained glass windows and sun catchers, all free or low cost.

Another idea…

Try a trip to the cinema. There are Kids’ Clubs with reduced prices on at OdeonVue (each morning),  & Picturehouse (Sat only),

  1. Thank you so much for linking to our day out at the RAMM. I love your indoor ideas for half term, these are definitely useful when the weather is normally pants during the school holidays 🙂
