We absolutely love visiting DiscoverHannahs at Seale-Hayne. A fantastic place with loads going on, we always enjoy their school holiday themed activities – you can read about last summer’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ fun on the blog.
This half term is ‘Wildlife Week‘ with a packed timetable of animal-themed activities every day. Entry to the site is free, as is parking and access to the outdoor play areas. Other activities are available at very modest cost or for a donation, such as a butterfly clue hunt (small prize included), mini golf, animal brass rubbing, mask making and more.
The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is also currently running and amused the children – though some may need glossing over for younger eyes….
There are other activities that need to be prebooked and some cost a little more, or are provided by outside companies. See their website for a full list. The daily list of activities varies through the week, my children were thrilled to visit on the same day as some amazing birds of prey!
Seale-Hayne is in a beautiful location and has fab views. You are able to walk around the site, explore the outdoor play opportunities, sit on a tractor, visit the sensory gardens and stretch your legs. There is a gift shop, café, gallery, bistro, book stall and so much more – have fun exploring!
