Seaton Wetlands

Seaton Wetlands is a large wetland nature reserve accessed via Seaton Cemetery with free parking (donations requested) and is free to visit, with donations requested for events and activities. It is well signposted from the centre of the town and the car park has information boards and signs to help you find your way into the reserve.

There are several areas of the wetlands and there are maps to help you plan your visit. The Lookout is an information hut where rangers are often available to direct you or answer questions and leaflets/maps are obtainable.

Most of the paths are buggy friendly, flat and easy to navigate. Due to the wildlife at the wetlands dogs are not welcome (except assistance dogs of course). Activities are held in the Reed Base, and the adjoining Discovery Hut has a café at the weekends, toilets and seating.

It’s worth keeping an eye on Wild East Devon’s Social Media pages and on the website as regular events and activities are held and offer a great day out.
